About Technology
All students receive instruction and hands-on training in general computer and responsible Internet use.

K-2 Program
Young children learn basic computing skills through programs and online games which reinforce general classroom concepts. Students are also introduced to basic computer parts and concepts.

3-5 Program
Older elementary students learn graphic design and Internet navigation skills through hands-on projects and classroom activities. An emphasis is placed on proper keyboarding and multi-media presentations. They will also be introduced to the Microsoft Office Suite as well.

Jr. High Program
Student go in depth into the Microsoft Office suite, computer history and typing.. An emphasis is placed on Internet usage for academic research and reports.

 

Elective
Students will learn in depth about how a computer works and will also learn about what technology is going to be shaping future products that are relevant to them. For example, how the multi-core cell procesor developed by IBM will be utilized in the XBOX 360 and the Playstation 3.
