Accreditation

Accreditation comes from the Latin word credito--meaning "to trust."
Since the late 1800's, American schools and colleges have had their trustworthiness and quality validated through accreditation. Less than ten percent of Christian schools nationwide are accredited.

Santa Fe Springs Christian School is accredited by the following:

The Commission of International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA)
This organization is the most rapidly growing accrediting agency in the world. It was created in 1994 by five American regional associations which accredit schools and universities.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
This organization is one of six regional associations which accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States.

The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)

This organization was founded in 1978, the outgrowth of a merger of three associations. ACSI has 18 regional offices in North America and around the globe. Current membership includes over 5,000 member schools from approximately one hundred countries with an enrollment of over one million students.
