Born and raised in Alliance, Ohio and ventured out to CA after graduating college in search of a career building models for the movie industry. That didn't exactly happen but my engineering classes did pay off and I ended up working in the Aerospace Industry and then Medical Devices in Configuration Services. (Change Control and Documentation). After working 16 years in this role it was time to "retire" and be a stay at home wife and mom. I am married to Paul an Architect who designs stores for the motor sports industries like Harley Davidson and Articat Snowmobiles. I have a 20 year old son Nicholas, who graduated from SFSCS and is currently attending Cal State Fullerton majoring in Kinesiology. And I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Madison, who currently attends SFSCS. Even though I didn't "stay at home with her" I did stay with her!
I loved SFSCS from the first step on the campus when Nick started 1st grade way back in the 90's. So when asked to be the Librarian and then the Computer Teacher here at the school I jumped at the opportunity. I truly believe God provided me with my prior work knowledge and experience as training for being the SFSCS Media Specialist. It's amazing how my prior experience along with God's prompting has enabled me to hit the ground running in my roles here at SFSCS.
I am an active member of FAFC currently serving with the Inner City Ministry Team. If you have clothes to get rid of - give me a call! The need is great for the homeless.
I love spending time with my family from just hanging out to going to the beach to attending all their sporting events to participating in their sporting events with them. I love running with Madi at her track and cross country practices as well as playing alongside my husband Paul and son Nick on our recreational softball team. I also love digital photography and our family pets Bubbles our dwarf bunny and Tina our red footed tortoise.
